"It is my goal to provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere in order for each client to feel heard, understood, and validated. Making the decision to seek counseling is often overwhelming and difficult. I believe it is important to recognize the strength in each individual for making the step towards living a healthier, happier, and more fulfilled life. My desire for clients is to improve self-awareness, increase insight and develop new ways of coping. My personal goal as a therapist is to instill hope as my clients work to strengthen their ability to make positive, long-lasting changes."

Background

For the last 11 years, Nikki has counseled individuals, children, couples, and families through compassionate, caring, and effective treatment. In 2013, Nikki established her own practice. Since that time, she has been featured on Fox News and has been a guest speaker on the radio, and at local health-care events.

It is her approach to carefully listen to your concerns and work with you to build a strategy to reach your specific goals. Through a combination of Cognitive-behavioral and Solution Focused techniques, Nikki is able to aid you in identifying the underlying problem, pinpoint what is or isn't working, and develop a course of action which may include new skills, perspectives, and/or behaviors.

Nikki enjoys travel, photography, cooking healthy meals for her family, and going on hikes with their pups, Drake and Petra (Hungarian Vizslas).
